Red Marble Games General Help
Each of our games is available as a free downloadable demo. The download files are provided in Apple's Disk Image (.dmg) format, which should open automatically when you download the file. If it doesn't, look for a file with a .dmg file name in your downloads folder and double-click it to open.
Some of our older games may still be in a StuffIt format (we're in the process of converting over); you can identify these by the .sit file name extension. For these you'll need the freeware StuffIt Expander, which you can download here.
• How do I install your games?
Most of our games don't require an installer; the .dmg format opens as a "disk," and you can drag the game file from that disk window to your Desktop or anywhere else you like.
Some of our games, like Aargon and Rolling Marbles, use an installer program -- you'll know because when you decompress the file you downloaded, the result is a single file with "Installer" in the title. Double-click the installer icon to run the installer, then follow its instructions.
We use eSellerate and Plimus as our e-commerce providers to ensure that your transactions with us are secure and safe. Red Marble Games never sees your credit card number.
Each demo that you download from our site includes a "Buy Now" button in the game, and you can click that button to begin a secure transaction that will let you purchase and download the registered version. Be sure your Internet connection is up and running before you click "Buy," and have your credit card ready. Or you can buy our games online at our Web store, if you have a credit card.
If you don't have a credit card, or prefer mail order, you can print out our online order form and mail it to us with payment.
